People won’t resist the real you.

They can’t .

If your real heart is grumpy and gruff,

No matter what nice things you say,

People will stay away from you,

Unless they’re grumpy, too.

But if you’re truly kind at heart,

And smart enough to let it show

Through quiet ways 

So people know it’s true,

There will be nothing you can do

To keep everyone and everything 

From falling smackdab in love with you.
