Splendid Lady

I’m a slow learner

But life has hit be right between the eyes

Right between the magic carpet rides

Right between the green eyed ladies

Right between the feel like Makin love and the badfiinger

Right between brandy youre a fine girl

And foghat

Right between slow ride and fool for the city

Something unfolded with the laundry

And I came undone

I had only ever noticed the treble in my dna

But today I paid attention

And there’s a lot of unanswered bass here

Screaming for a line to play

And run off with the percussion

I’m gonna get UPPPP

Like a sex machine

I’m on the right track now

So get thee behind me

There’s a new mothah natchah takin ovah
