Nocty, come.
Let never we speak of this—
This romp at midnight,
This nefarious tryst,
Overturning trashcans in the alley,
Touching tongues and fingertips.
Unspeakable bandit,
With your black gloves,
Dipping clothe-less in the water,
Leaving your scat on the sidewalk!
Be discreet! Like the otter!
But, oh, he can't!
Shamefaced, scarred,
His mischief as clumsy as his big behind!
Masked, he steals the night itself,
And wishes somehow, he could be kind.
