In her next life,
She wished to come back
As a large, athletic, black man.
Tired of her mousy, anemic existence—
Not even the cheerleader type,
Her heart’s desire was to be given a chance
To be aggressive out there on the field and the court.
She longed for the fight, for the kill,
For the sport of having her choice of sexual adventures,
And never to have to sit and wait
Until someone was finally
Turned enough on.
Come to think of it,
Even coming back as a white man would probably do.
