Some people are down
With cheerleader types,
Thinking us shallow
And empty headed.
But, everyone of us
Needs a shout out
From the sidelines of our days
At some point in our lives,
Even if it comes
As just a whisper or a nod.
And so, if you'll give me
A little room now,
I'll be happy to show you
My high kick.
