I caught a whiff of you
A second ago.
The sweet and spicy cologne
You wear for me.
I turned to see
But you weren't there.
My heart sank a little,
But I knew you couldn't be.

But I stopped and lingered in the air,
Allowed my feet a rest from grounded thoughts.
My mind began to spin
With arms stretched out,
And my mouth watered,
Just a little bit.

And I must say,
I'm missing you today.
