My sneezing fit scared my cat.
He pouted all day long,
Avoided me, and gave me the silent treatment.

I wondered if an apology would make any difference to him.
I knew apologizing would affect me
For the worse.
So I didn't.

He quit sulking at suppertime.

I wonder what it will take
For others to forgive me
For the biological fits I've thrown,
Much less the unreasonable ones.
