In the history of language and its bodily origins,
"Yes" comes down the fluid flow from a rigid violent start.
Nodding the head to acquiesce
Began as a mimicked movement
Of one who's given in to sex,
One who's submitted and goes along together with the superior and more aggressive aggressor.
Shaking the head no indicated,
If, at least in some symbolic way,
That the one being sexed upon
Protested,
And refused to pretend to like it,
Even in the midst of being fucked sideways.
But in these days where the actual word "no" means "yes,"
Has "yes" come to mean "no?"
Or has it come all the way full circle around and back
To sideways once again?
