I'm so tired of hearing the husky voices 

Of gruff women 

Telling their children what to do 

In the public restroom.

"Go potty!" they demand.

"Wash your hands!"

"Stand right here and wait for me!"

I think if there is anywhere 

People of all ages, even children,

Know what they need to do

Without being told,

It's the bathroom.

And then I come out of the stall

And see this sign telling me 

Not to forget my purse!
