Then how are we so opposite

When we seem to be so much the same.

We meet in the lyrics of a song that we both like.

We dance together in a cosmic way.

Even thousands of miles apart,

Our hearts beat in total sync.

My hips are shaking

To the beat of yours.

I grind my molars in my sleep,

Dreaming of you.

The attraction is so sure,

The opposition must be polar.

But maybe that's good,

And maybe there is just enough room

On a board somewhere in the rafters of my belfry,

That we could share,

And dance carefully

As a pure flame of love

That fires up toward the heavens.
