Over-simplified

He thought me a vegetarian,
Which I took as a compliment,
Although I'm really an omnivore
With a bit if a scavenger bent.
Then he told me I seemed
Mysteriously ambidextrous,

Which just isn’t true. I’m a clutz with my left,
But I knew what he meant.
It was then I realized,
I’m far too simple for his liking,
And he could never learn to cope.
I'm uncomplicated as waxed thread,
And plain as homemade soap.
