As a Man Thinketh,
He's liable to tell,
But, as for a woman 'ne'er do well'
Like me,
Far be it that I should dare
Share my philosophy.

For would I ever lead you wrong,
Sing you a song of how I became successful,
When all I have is this bushel basketful of blueberries,
And I'm
About to get screwed out of them?

But maybe the world should stop
And heed at least a few of the things
The old wives said, in lieu of
All that lofty philosophical jargon.
Could we be satisfied with a bargain
At the five and dime,
And be willing to make
That stitch that saves nine?
The greater part of valor is discretion,
And words don't speak louder
Than actions,
And a lot of good could come
From not throwing all these stones
Around all these glass houses.
