"Oh?!" I said then kind of laughed

And asked,

"Well if you don't mind telling me what I've done

That you consider flirting?"

"You have looked directly into my eyes," he said,

"And smiled at me.

There's a lightness in your laugh

And a deepness to the way you breathe."

"Oh, I'm so sorry," I apologized.

"I'll try and stop doing all these things you've mentioned,

But.... a girl's got to breathe,
