I fight my destiny

Tooth and nail.

I don't like where my ship is sailing.

Someone steered me wrong long ago.

I was a fool to listen.

So I've taught my children to say,

"Don't tell me what to do!"

And to choose from their own hearts

Wisely, every day.

Will they sail in accordance to the way

In peace and reach their best destination?

Or will they, too, like me,

When they see where they're really headed,

Fight the unavoidable destiny,

Tooth and nail.
