I feel very lonesome tonight, isolated,

I see my dog feels the very same way

Curled up at the foot of the bed.

Even though the cat would like 

To curl up with him,

He ain't havin' none of that,

And would rather be lonely

Than be caught with the enemy.

And as for me?

I've got cats and dogs and kids,

But it's not the same

As a true love,

But I'm not sure these days,

Who my friends, who my enemies are?

Who really loves me?
