One of the best storytellers I know
Never bothers to type them out.
He scrawls 'em long-hand
Onto an old notepad
And hides 'em away in mason jars
That he buries out in his backyard
Right alongside the confederate money
His family left him for an inheritance.

And he will never win a Pushcart,
Or any other best seller award,
But he doesn't give a damn,
And neither would you if you ever read
Just one of his tormented stories.

I have been lucky enough to hear a few,
And hearing them has liberated me
From false desires and idols
And the desire for long relationships.
